SERVING FAMILIES WITH COMPASSION AND GRACE

THE GOODS AND SERVICES SHOWN BELOW ARE THOSE WE CAN PROVIDE TO OUR CUSTOMERS. YOU MAY CHOOSE ONLY THE ITEMS YOU DESIRE. HOWEVER, ANY FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS YOU SELECT WILL INCLUDE A CHARGE FOR OUR BASIC SERVICES AND OVERHEAD. IF LEGAL OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS MEAN YOU MUST BUY ANY ITEMS YOU DID NOT SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR, WE WILL EXPLAIN THE REASON IN WRITING ON THE STATEMENT WE PROVIDE DESCRIBING THE FUNERAL GOODS AND SERVICES YOU SELECTED.

Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any pre need agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for ,in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

Payment Terms

All accounts must be paid in full at the conclusion of the arrangement conference.

SERVICES CANCELLED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A CANCELLATION FEE OF $200.00.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT:

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF

NOTE: (SOME PACKAGES HAVE PRORATED BASIC SERVICES BASED UPON THE SERVICES OFFERED IN THE PACKAGE YOU CHOOSE.)

This fee for our Basic Services and overhead will be added to the Funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for Direct Cremation, Immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving Remains. Our charges include, but are not limited to: Staff available 24 hours daily to respond to the initial request for services; conference with the family or responsible party, arrangement of a meaningful and appropriate Funeral or Memorial Service, obtaining vital statistic information required for documents, filing the Death Certificate, coordinating the desired Funeral Service plans with: Clergy, Cemetery, Crematory, and/or other third parties;preparation and filing of all necessary notices, authorizations with government agencies; and follow up attention to related details of the service. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of the insurance, licenses, taxes,regulatory compliance, and all other business expenses required to serve the public.


PREPARATION OF REMAINS:

REFRIGERATION: (Includes Hygienic care, Dressing and Casketing)

Refrigeration of Unembalmed Remains (after 8 days)

California Administrative Code, Section 12323B: "If an unembalmed body is held longer than 24 hours, it must be refrigerated."

EMBALMING (Includes Cosmetics)

Except in certain special cases, Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain Funeral arrangements, such as a Funeral with viewing. If you do not want Embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as Direct Cremation and Immediate Burial. Embalming is required when the remains are to be transferred out of the State or out of the Country. Tulocay Cemetery, Funeral Home, Crematory requires Embalming of the Remains if a family chooses to hold an “open casket” visitation and/or “open casket” services.Except in certain special cases, Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain Funeral arrangements, such as a Funeral with viewing. IF YOU WANT TO ARRANGE A DIRECT CREMATION OR IMMEDIATE BURIAL, YOU CAN USE AN ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER. ALTERNATIVE CONTAINERS ENCASE THE BODY AND CAN BE MADE OF MATERIALS LIKE FIBERBOARD OR COMPOSITION MATERIALS. (WITH OR WITHOUT AN OUTSIDE COVERING.)

Our charges for Immediate Burial (accomplished as soon as practical, without Ceremony) includes a Disposition Permit, State Fees,Basic Services of our Funeral Director and Staff, transfer of the Decedent from place of death to Tulocay Mortuary, refrigeration or necessary Embalming of Decedent,dressing/casketing, obtaining necessary documentation from the Physician or Coroner,and transportation to local Cemetery for burial.

Our charges for Direct Cremation (without Ceremony) includes an Alternative Cardboard Cremation Container, a Disposition Permit, State Fees, Basic Services of our Funeral Director and Staff, transfer of the Decedent from place of death to Tulocay Mortuary, necessary refrigerated holding of Decedent, obtaining necessary documentation from the Physician or Coroner and Standard Cremation Fee.
