BARBARA ALLEN
1931-2012
Barbara Allen, a long time American Canyon resident, passed away January 30, 2012. She was born June 19, 1931 in Providence, Rhode Island to Childs and Dorothy Wheaton.
She worked for 12 years as a bookkeeper at Mare Island. She enjoyed NASCAR, crochet, BINGO, card games and puzzles, but most of all she loved her family and being loved by them.
She is survived by her husband, Jack R. Allen; daughters, Lynn Wilson, Sharon Harting, Mary Allen and Kimberly Popoloski; son, Marty Allen; grandchildren, Doug Wilson, Brian Wilson, Christy Hanson, Renee Allen, Jack Allen, and Leann Moore; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Rampone and Rick Rampone; and sister, Virginia Akins.
