Gertrude McNamara 1920-2012 Gertrude McNamara peacefully passed away in her home, Jan. 18, 2012. Gertrude was born on Sept. 6, 1920 in San Francisco, where she attended elementary schools and graduated from Mission High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, William McNamara. After marrying, "Gertie" and "Bill" happily raised their family in Corte Madera for 30 years and then retired in Napa to the lovely community of Willowbrook, where they enjoyed their retirement years. Gertrude is survived by a son, William (Sharon), and daughter, Marilyn (Jack) Dennis, a grandson and three granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren. She will greatly missed by family and friends alike. Donations in Gertrude's name may be made to the Queen of the Valley Women's Imaging Center (also known as the Breast Center). At our mother's request, a memorial service will be private. Memories and words of sympathy may be sent to the family online at tulocaycemetery.org.

I offer my sympathies to Billy and Marilyn. I also send my prayers for both your mother and father. I'm sure they are together again. Remember that I was the altar boy at their wedding at St. Peters is SF.

My sincere condolences to your entire family. I only met your mom a couple of times as she walked around Willowbrook, once with Marily. She was so kind.
