Dear Patty, Katie, & Jenny, Your Mother was the wonderful and kind lady who made our neighborhood special. My own children grew up with a large dress up box that I had copied from the ones in your playroom. I even found a parachute to put in it! My love for pies (apple to be precise) was the direct result of your Mother's encouragement in the kitchen. I can't see an apple pie ,or apple butter without thinking fondly of her. Thank you for sharing her so many years ago. I have not forgotten her thoughtful and generous nature.
