HASSAN S. VAZIRI
1915- 2012
Hassan S. Vaziri passed away on January 5, 2012 at his home in Napa. He was born in Tehran, Iran in 1915. He served as Mayor of Isfahan, Vice President of the Interior and several other government positions under the Shah. He has a PHD in Engineering from Tehran University.
He enjoyed reading, writing poetry, chess and spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Akram, son Dr. Ali (Sally) Vaziri; son Andre Vaziri of Scottsdale, Arizona, and grandsons, Cameron, Chris and Charlie Vaziri.
Services will be Monday January 9 at 10:30 A.M. Tulocay Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St.John's Lutheran School, 3521 Linda Vista Ave. Napa, CA 94558.
