on the 12th I wrote Sam on Facebook,SAM! I BEEN THINKING ABOUT YOU A LOT. How are you?! Sam! I have been sober for over three years!!! Shayne is in College and almost 18 She is doing well and is never in trouble. She is funny sings all the time, Plays guitar and paints. She is taking Art History and French right now but will be going into nursing. I have been in my first sober relationship for just under two years. I am at the same job I got when I was staying with you. I AM HAPPY. I want to say thank you... and I couldn't be here now if it were not for. Having you believe in me and taking me under your wing was where something started to change for me. Shayne and I would like to see you.. say hello!!!Thank you for the stories, the faith, and being there for me when I had no one. Give Steven & Judy my love, Shayne and will NEVER forget YOU.

SSG Sanford was a great NCO and a very good family man. I have several fond and good memories of SSG Sanford. I also have had the honor of meeting some of his family- what great people.
SSG Sanford, you will be missed.
