Howard and Elsie migrated to CA in 1946; living in Pinole, Rodeo, and finally Napa, where they have resided for the past 12 years.  A long career as an iron worker and then with Dymo Industries brought retirement in 1980.  As a faithful blood donor, he gave 71 times totaling almost 9 gallons.

Howard will be remembered for his many talents but especially for his 45-year hobby of antique car restoration.  A member of the Diablo A's, Napa Valley A's, and Model A Ford Club of America, he fully restored a number of cars and assisted in the restoration of many more.

Howard was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.  A celebration of his life will be at Tulocay Mortuary on Sunday, March 7, 2010, beginning at 2:00.  Friends and family are invited to share memories, thoughts, and encouraging words at this time, or send to his family online atwww.tulocaycemetery.org.

Howard always knew…. If you had any problem, idea, or question, Howard had or could come up with a workable creative answer. We can not believe our "go to" guy is gone… We love you Howard! Rest in comfort and peace…. Jan and Dave

Uncle Howard has always been our favorite. We would always make sure no matter what...to meet up with him and Aunt Elsie when they came to Arkansas. He was such a pleasant, happy and just wonderful person. He will be missed so much. We love you Uncle Howard. Love from James & Norma Goines, Myrna Goines, Steven & Sheila King and Erell Goines.

Buck & Becky Goines March 7, 2010
I always admired my older brother for what he could build. He could just "fix" anything. We both shared a love for old trucks and cars. I will miss him so much. Love from your brother Buck and wife Becky.

Everyone always talked about how much you were like Big Pop. Your gentle, quiet spirit gave me a glimpse of the grandfather I never knew. Thank you.
