Funeral Service: Monday, February 08, 2010 11:00 AM Tulocay Funeral Home, Napa, CA BiographyJAMES W. DENNA1920-2010 James W. Denna, 89, passed away on February 4, 2010. He was born in Westville Oklahoma on October 5, 1920 to Gus and Pearl Denna. His family moved to California when he was 3 and he graduated from Lassen High School in Susanville, CA. in 1940. James married Lorene on December 30, 1950. James worked as a for 20 years and then became a postal clerk for 20 years. He and Lorene raised two boys, Jim and Dave and they all loved camping together. James was a big football fan, but he really enjoyed to travel. He and Lorene visited every state except for Alaska, and traveled to 9 countries in Europe and throughout Canada. He was always up for an adventure. However, his greatest passion was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was affectionately known as "Grandpa Hook"! His love and wisdom will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lorene, sons, Jim (Ruth) Denna, Paradise and Dave (Pat) Denna, Napa. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Monday February 8, 2010 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Tulocay Funeral Home.
