Janet Cannizzaro passed away peacefully where she resided on March 7, 2024 in Napa, CA at the age of
93.
Janet was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from High School, she married Robert
Cannizzaro. Janet and her husband welcomed three children into their home, and Janet set about
teaching them many skills of life. Janet’s children remember her as a driven mother who encouraged
them to pursue their goals.
Janet was an accomplished homemaker and craft maker. She was a dedicated individual who loved life
to the fullest and who was passionate about any endeavor that she undertook. She was an active and
dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church of Napa and its’ associated organizations. She
volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, a Rummage Sale Organizer, a Recorder at Napa swim meets,
President of the Emblem Club, and a Delivery person for Meals-On-Wheels.
Janet is survived her daughter Terri Henry and son David Cannizzaro. She is preceded in death by her
parents, sister, husband, eldest son and one grandson.
A private memorial will be held on a later date at the family’s gravesite. In lieu of flowers, please send
donations to Napa Community Projects, the First Presbyterian Church of Napa, Heifer International or a
